Cookies policy.
Minimum cookies required to make the site work. No ad-tech, no third-party trackers, no surveillance pixels. Last reviewed July 2026.
What's a cookie
A small text file your browser stores so the site can remember a tiny piece of state between page loads — e.g. that you've already dismissed the banner. It doesn't run code, can't see your photos, doesn't leak between sites unless someone deliberately wires it to. We haven't.
What we set
Two cookies, both first-party (set by us, only readable by us):
- ms_session — lets the intake form survive a page bounce without re-typing. Lives until tab close.
- ms_seen_banner — remembers you've dismissed the cookies banner. Lives 6 months.
What we don't set
- No advertising cookies. We don't advertise online.
- No off-site tracking. (Plausible counts page hits without dropping or reading a cookie — explained below.)
- No retargeting pixels. No Meta, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight, no TikTok pixel, none of the rest.
Analytics
Privacy-friendly counter (Plausible). Doesn't store anything on your device. Anonymises your IP before counting. Doesn't follow you off-site. No cookie banner required under most privacy laws. If you'd rather not be counted, your browser's Do Not Track signal turns it off automatically.
Turning them off
Browsers all allow blocking cookies in settings. Mount Solution works fine without them — the intake form still submits; you'll just see the banner more than once. To clear them on your device: Settings → Privacy → Site data → search "mountsolution" → clear.
Changes
Adding any cookie bumps the reviewed-date here and posts a two-week footer notice. We won't add advertising cookies; that's a permanent commitment, codified in the runbook.
